Hummer Gas Mileage

Hamburg drivers who select the 2022 Hummer SUV or truck (available in 2023) will reap the benefits of the fast charging time and efficiency that comes with the ultium battery that powers the new Hummer entirely with electricity. Instead of conventional gas mileage, you’ll look at the battery’s electric driving range: how far a fully-charged battery can go. While the EPA-estimated charging times haven’t been made available at this time, here are the GM estimates on electric driving range: 

  • Hummer SUV electric driving range: 300+ miles
  • Hummer truck electric driving range: 350+ miles

The current research indicates that the Hummer truck can generate a 100-mile charge in just ten minutes thanks to a 350kW 800-volt DC fast-charging battery, while the Hummer SUV offers up to 300kW. You won’t be sacrificing power when you give up the gas, though. When you put your Edition 1 Hummer EV in Watts to Freedom mode, GM testing indicates you’ll go from zero to 60 in just three seconds with the force of 1,000 hp and 11,500 ft-lb of torque. A Regen on Demand system and One-Pedal Driving will give your battery a boost between charging sessions.
